Business Administration
The Business Administration educational programs develop scholarship and leadership by combining classroom instruction with projects along with encounters with outstanding business professionals. Students are encouraged to practice business skills through case studies, group projects, internships and cooperative programs.
We like to bring businesses and students together to address issues of mutual interest, which provides actual, hands-on experience. It is especially proud of the opportunities available in the international business areas due, in part, to the university's proximity to Mexico. The department sees advantages in providing practical experiences to the student and strongly encourage individual development in these areas based on interest and background.
The business department provides a strong foundation in both theory and practice across the functions of business. Business Department faculty all have industry experience which adds to the practical side of instruction and have terminal degrees from major universities which adds to the theoretical side.
